WOW - my book Bruce Finds A Home is going to be part of the Little Landers Literature programme! Along with illustrator Robyn Belton (whose beautiful book The ANZAC Violin is in stores now), I'm going to be teaming up with The Highlanders to bring the joy of reading to Dunedin's children (well, mum is. She will probably leave me at home).
Visit the Otago Daily Times website to find out more about Little Landers Literature.

![]() My story has been featured on all sorts of websites, but I never thought I'd be sharing my tale in the New Zealand Woman's Weekly! But my handsome face is featured three times in this week's edition. I have to say the photographer was a lot more professional than the usual amateurs (mum and dad) that I have to deal with. He did an excellent job capturing my sleek coat. (My mum's in the article too, but I think we all know who the real star of the show is.) Click here to find out more about 'Bruce Finds A Home'. Well this is exciting - these are advance copies of the #Brucethecat book Bruce Finds A Home!
Thank you so much to Mary Egan Publishing who have done such a brilliant job on the production, and of course to all our Kickstarter backers - we literally couldn't have done this without you! We're on track to send our books to backers in November as promised. If you didn't pre-order a copy, don't worry - they'll be available for sale through my website a bit later (I'll be sure to let you know when). Thanks for your support everyone! Video music by Bensound.com. Mum's been writing a children's book about me!
The children's book is a fictionalised account of how I was found. In the book it is a young girl called Kate who finds me and takes me home. The illustrations are based on real places in my new home town, Dunedin. Mum has finally finished all the pictures! The images are currently being scanned, and I am advising mum on a publishing plan, and a Kickstarter funding plan, as we speak! Excuse all the exclamation marks, but it is very exciting. !!!!!!!!! Stay tuned for updates! |
