Wowee - I made it to the national news last night! You can watch the clip below, or a bigger version here on the TVNZ website.
Wow it's been a big year for a little cat! Here are some highlights...
What a wild ride! Thanks for sharing it with me.
Love from Bruce the Cat xx In all the excitement about the holidays I almost forgot to post about my birthday! Well, it was my first ever birthday on 3 November this year and I was very excited. I received amazing birthday cards from all over the world (thanks everyone!) and I was very spoiled with TWO cakes - one made out of jellymeat just for me, and one made out of some sweet stuff that the humans ate. Thanks to everyone who sent me good wishes... and an extra special thanks to my friend Emilie for baking my incredible look-a-like cake! It's the silly season, and that means lots of opportunities for mum and dad to dress me up in silly outfits! It's also a time when pets can accidentally eat food that's bad for them. Remember not to leave the following human treats out on the table or in rubbish bags if little paws can get to them:
If you think your pet has eaten something silly (like that time I ate a piece of string...) contact your vet for advice. Sources: SPCA Auckland, Vets Now. I've made some educational videos about pets at Christmas. One is about choosing pets from shelters, and one is about making sure your pet has a good break while you're on holiday. If you like the videos please feel free to share them. Thank mew!
